Creamy Greek Yogurt Tahini Sauce FT FAGE Total
This post is sponsored by FAGE, but all opinions are my own.
I love using FAGE Total 2% Plain Greek yogurt in many different ways, but one of my favorites is in a sauce or dip! I love making my own and incorporating something with a thick and creamy texture like FAGE Greek Yogurt.
I bring a giant bowl of meal prepped roasted vegetables for lunch to the hospital every day and ALWAYS have a fun sauce to pair with it. And every single day, without fail, my coworkers would ask what I was eating, how I made it, and if I ever get sick of eating vegetables (LOL NO!). They always ask for a 'recipe' and say they don't know how to make the salad. My only piece of advice is you NEED to jazz up your healthy meals with a yummy dressing or sauce! That keeps the meal interesting and totally changes the flavor profile so it never feels like you're eating the same thing over and over. Not to mention, if you roast a bunch of veggies on the weekends, you can add a different sauce and always feel like you are eating something new!
One thing that makes FAGE Total Greek yogurt a must-have in my kitchen is that it's so versatile. It makes it so easy to get creative with my sauces and dressings! It adds a satiating creaminess and protein from the yogurt that keeps me full! If you know me, you also know that I am obsessed with tahini and the two pair perfectly together. I have been having this combo for years! FAGE Total Plain also comes in 3 different milk fat varieties, (0%, 2%, 5%) so you can totally customize the sauce to fit your lifestyle. Check out my fav sauce recipe below and let me know how you decide to incorporate it into your yummy meals!
Here is the creamy tahini sauce recipe:
1 juiced lemon
1/4 cup tahini
1/2 cup plain Fage Greek yogurt
1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Garlic, salt, pepper
Optional: nutritional yeast! I love adding this for the flavor and vitamins
Whisk all of this together and add water to thin to desired consistency. Douse over a bowl and never have a boring salad again!
